Doesn’t look like any weather threats to the match tomorrow evening. The Cedar Fork Precision .22 Rimfire matches are in fact a series this year with a points race that will culminate in a series finale on Saturday September 12th. These matches are typically very small due to them being on Friday evenings. That has always been by design. You only have to shoot two matches to qualify for the finale. A very safe but laid back environment to shoot, learn and enjoy some good company, not mine, I’m a beast to be around most of the time but the others guys are cool. Photo of last seasons trophies.

.22 RIMFIRE MATCH is CANCELLED for this evening. I just left the range and there was a hard short rain last night that significantly washed out the lane. Logistics don’t allow for me to get that addressed prior to match time and traffic even 4WD will only further impact the washouts.

.22 Rimfire for May 29th is cancelled due to rain. The forecast has started to become a moving target. More rain has fallen already than I expected. Next Rimfire match Friday June 12th.

.22 Rimfire CFP series match this Friday May 29th 5:30. Once again we will be keeping an eye on the rain. I failed miserably with calling the weather last match. I’m not really looking forward to taking my rifle down to a pile of machine screws and turret caps after getting soaked. Call me “less dedicated” I suppose. If I cancel a .22 match I will lean heavily toward avoiding rain and make notification on the website 24 hours prior to match start time.

There is a PractiScore link just below the match schedule. In the very near future you will no longer be seeing much of Cedar Fork on Facebook. It’s barely functional for information dissemination and based on Facebook policies they are apparently not suppotive of our culture. I did say culture because the vast majority of us, competative shooters are a culture. Anyone that’s been in it longer than 10 years is aware of it. Anyone that’s not only been competing but MDing albeit USPSA for nearly 20 years has witnessed more and more suppression and in social media. I’m just trying to get ahead of the game.

Point being, go to webpage below and follow the links. Matches are up on Practiscore, .22 and Precision AR (SPR/DMR) aka Gas Gun and available for registration now. I don’t require pre-pay so registration cost nothing. There will be more matches posted.
