Our hearts are heavy as we honor the life and memory of Bianca Nagel. Bianca was a cherished part of the GTFC family—not only as a dedicated player on the field, but also as an IDL worker helping shape the next generation of players, following in the footsteps of her father, Coach Matt Nagel.
Bianca touched the lives of everyone she met with her bright spirit, passion, and kindness. Even in this unimaginable tragedy, her legacy of selflessness lives on as she gives the gift of life through organ donation—a cause she deeply believed in.
The Nagel family shared this message:
"We can not even comprehend what we are sending but the unfathomable has occurred over the last couple days of continued declining condition and unrepairable deterioration that has occurred to Bianca's brain. She will be providing the gift of life, a cause she has always been extremely empassioned about. Her friends and family are all beyond devastated to have lost such a beautiful soul, Bianca. We appreciate all the love and support that Bianca has been surrounded by during her years with us on earth and that Bianca and her family have continued to be surrounded by during these darkest of days. Our family is now incomplete and there is a hole in anyone's lives that had the opportunity to know Bianca even for a second, that cannot be filled. But please take a moment and reflect on how blessed you were to have even known her for a minute. She truly has been the best of all of us."
