Perry R.C. Flyers AMA Chartered RC flying club. We fly all type of RC planes. The Perry R.C. Flyers strives to meet the needs of local remote control modelers. Perry R.C.

Located 2 miles east of the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter on Larry Walker Parkway (AKA Golden Isles Highway), Perry, GA. The airfield consists of a 375' x 30' foot woven textile runway and includes tables in the pit area for pilots convenience. There is ample parking space, covered picnic tables for guests, a Porta-Potty and generator powered 120V receptacles and lighting. Currently,

the club has around 62 active members. Flyers are an AMA Chartered Field that adhere to the Academy of Model Aviation (AMA). On any given weekend, planes of all makes and models line the pit area. Instructors are also on hand to assist with those who are in RC flight training. Flying during the week and nights is also permitted for those who enjoy slower times with less air traffic. For those interested in flying, we also offer complimentary "discovery" flights on easy to fly, trainer-style aircraft. Flyers have been at our current field for over 3 years now, and continues to grow. We feel that we have an excellent site that will only get better as we improve upon it. Flyers welcomes all types of R.C. aircraft and power types: Airplanes, Helicopters, mult-irotors, gas, glow, and electric. We even have a couple of members with giant scale and turbine! Come see us!!

As of late this afternoon and a courtesy of a little credit card action, we now have a fully functional commercial Kubota in the house. Yay!! Bob Clay mowed for a while, but with the prolific and rampant Bahia grass taking possession of our field, it’s a “slow go”. Bob even told me that the mower was working like a commercial Kubota is supposed to! That being said, we welcome the attendance of any PRCF members, guests and friends on Friday (27th) to help wrestle our award winning field back into shape. Any mowing that Bob didn’t get to and w**d whacking will be greatly appreciated. Next week, we’ll get back on schedule with our field maintenance flights but for tomorrow, we welcome any motivated field maintenance technician, regardless of flight. Likely in the AM before it gets hot.
