What an AMAZING weekend at The Ripken Experience! ⚾️🏔️❤️
This weekend was about so much more than baseball. We got to watch these boys compete on beautiful fields surrounded by the Smoky Mountains, make memories with their teammates and families, and experience something they’ll hopefully remember for the rest of their lives.
I’m incredibly proud of this group. They battled, competed, picked each other up, and kept fighting all the way to the end, finishing the weekend as TOURNAMENT FINALISTS! 🥈⚾️ Of course we always want to bring home the championship, but I couldn’t be more proud of the effort, heart, and determination these boys showed.
One of the best parts of travel baseball is realizing that the memories go far beyond wins and losses. It’s the time spent together between games, the parents and families cheering from the sidelines, the laughs, the pictures, the mountain views, the late nights, and watching these kids grow together as teammates and friends.
A huge THANK YOU to every parent, grandparent, sibling, coach, and family member who made the trip and supported these boys. Experiences like this don’t happen without an incredible group of people behind them.
And on a personal level, getting to share this weekend with my family while doing something I love made it even more special. These are the weekends you wish you could slow down and hold onto a little longer.
Ripken Experience — you did not disappoint.
So proud of our boys. So thankful for our Velocity family. And so grateful for another weekend full of memories that will last a lifetime.
