VMJ ow at 215 and 285 during the new town duals! Look at the size difference, 6’4” 280lb ranked 7 hwt from bel air in state goes down…..moves to 156-1 on his hs career!!!! Also beat the #3 hwt from patuxent and the #4 215lber from newtown on the weekend!

Justin Kavanagh and Clayton Hosier and Adam Ferrante also win weight class titles!

Coach Steve and Eric will be taking the team over officially as of today……. Good luck to those who want to dedicate themselves to something… for those who don’t well the world needs ditch diggers and fast food workers too!

Proud of the seasons I had. Glad to see Victor get a full division 1 free ride scholarship and all that work paying off that is the measure of success!

This group will be dissolved and this page as it’s my personal account a new one may or may not be created. Same with the page……

I’ll be stepping away from coaching 29 years is more than anyone has the right to ask and I don’t owe anyone anything……

And what I am most proud of and gratified by is I did it my way!!!

I will be moving on to referee for awhile…….

We’re celebrating Maryland wrestlers committing to college programs and starting big with 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 “𝐕𝐌𝐉” 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐬-𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐬 of Perry Hall High School who has committed to 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲.

𝐕𝐌𝐉 is a 3x Maryland State medalist, 2x champion, 2025 Fargo Junior GR 7th place, and 2024 USAW 16U Folk Bronze medalist. With an incredible 145-1 career record, he’s on pace to break the Maryland public school wins record and eclipse the 200-win barrier. He started his journey with the Perry Hall Punishers, and his career is stacked with pins, techs, and domination.
