Your boys in black and grey, The Perris Prospectors Vintage Base Ball team will be taking on the Temecula Dear Bros.

Join us as we recreate one of Perris' original base ball teams in our inaugural season. We play vintage base ball team from surrounding cities such as Riverside, Temecula, Crestline, and Lake Arrowhead.

This style of baseball is played by 1886 Spalding rules. During this time it was spelled base ball.

Much like 1886, your Perris Prospectors wear replica wool uniforms and do not wear numbers or names on the back of their jerseys.

These are the gloves we use, notice they are more like gardening gloves. Our bats are 35 inch, 40 Oz. and the pitchers (hurlers) throw from a box 50 ft away. Did I mention we don't wear helmets?

Meet Albert "Reno" Renovato 1st base, left field, and more importantly pitcher. Reno is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He received his B.A. psychology from Cal State University San Bernardino and his M.A. in counseling in Psychology from Argosy University. Reno is a clinical therapist at a local hospital. Reno is married with 2 children and has been playing baseball for 30+ years. Reno is an avid Dodger fan and his hobbies include collecting vintage items, buying storage units at auctions, because to him, these hidden treasures is like experiencing "Christmas in July".

Meet Damian "The Omen" Renovato our 3b, SS, catcher, and pitcher. He's also a hard working family man with 20 plus years in management. Hobbies include Star Wars, camping, video games, and all sports. Enjoys spending time with his wife Carol, son Ethan and daughter Olivia. He's an avid Dodger fan and has aspirations of running for Mayor of Perris in the near future.

Hi, I'm Frankie "EL Toro" Escobar, founder of the Perris Prospectors Vintage Base Ball Team.

The city of Perris was where I lived and learned to play baseball from 1977-1985. I have very fond memories of my childhood in Perris and look forward to entertaining the city and proudly representing Perris.

Join us as we recreate one of Perris' original base ball teams in our inaugural season. We play vintage teams from surrounding cities such as Riverside, Temecula, Crestline, and Lake Arrowhead.
