When I got my first pair of pointe shoes, my instructor told the class that if we were old enough to have pointe shoes, we were old enough to learn how to sew them ourselves. We spent a full class sewing the ribbons on. That is a tradition that I have continued in my own studio. So, here they are, learning how to sew those ribbons on. 😊
