We witnessed quite an experience at the cabin last night, the banding of 3 loons on the lake (2 adults and one chick; estimated to be 3 weeks old). I plan to followup with TheLoonProject.org to get the band numbers so we can follow their journey. In the meantime, enjoy!

Male: 9lbs
Female: 7.8lbs
Chick: 2.3lbs (considered small)
