At Baum Squad Fitness high intensity interval training is something we add to everyone’s workout regimens whether you’re training for running a marathon, heavy lifting, or even just to strengthen your overall appearance. HIIT training is going to be short bouts of high intensity anaerobic exercise with less intense recovery periods. The goal with HIIT training is to get your heart rate and body working as HARD as it physically can for a short amount of time followed by a rest time that is usually double or equal to the amount of work time.
HIIT training is great for strengthening your cardiovascular fitness and decreasing your fasting glucose levels which will boost your metabolism and increase weight loss.
