Amazing day at Swiss Valley! The runners endured the hottest year in race history.

Everyone did a great job of staying hydrated and persevering through tough conditions.

Thank you all for participating and supporting Dubuque County Conservation.

There was a lot of first time trail runners and first time ultra runners, congrats on an epic accomplishment, you should be proud of yourself. You did it!

“I’m not running this race again. Until next year!”

Packet Pickup: Dimensional Brewing Company in downtown Dubuque at 67 Main Street, Dubuque, Iowa. Packet pickup will be from 5pm-7pm on Friday October 3rd.

Runners will also receive a coupon for $1 off craft beer from Dimesional Brewing.

Race Day Packet Pickup: We will have race day packet pickup available starting at 6:30am at Swiss Valley Nature Center (Start/Finish area).

Look forward to the race on Saturday.

One of the questions we get frequently is about the aid stations and "crewville".

There is an aid station at approx. mile 2.2. The start/finish of each loop is mile 5.12. The start/finish area is the parking lot at Swiss Valley Nature Center. There will be no cars in this parking lot, which will leave ample room for "Crewville".

Most crews will have chairs and coolers and dropbags setup here. At the 2.2 mile aid station there will be water and tailwind. At the start/finish aid station, there will be water, tailwind, oranges, bananas, chips, coke, ginger ale, and PB&J.

Thank You for being part of the Swiss Valley Trail Races. Your support of Dubuque County Conservation is appreciated.

You should be proud of finishing a challenging course. For many of you, it was your first time at the 25k and 50k distance.

We hope you enjoyed the beauty of the trails in this little corner of the World as much as we enjoyed sharing them with you.
