King is still just a little overwhelmed with all the dogs, but this is a huge improvement over the video from last week. He's showing good solid improvement each day. Yay King!

If you're aware of King's story, then you'll appreciate this video of him showing a completely different side. When he got here he was extremely sensitive to any touch whatsoever.

The first time I took his collar he went totally ballistic and the fight was on! He did not want me or anyone else putting their hands on him in any way. In this video you'll see me apply quite a bit of force on him showing how far he's come with the touch. He is doing so well, I'm very proud of him.

We picked up Joel in San Bernardino CA on Dec 09, 2014. Five days later Jessica and Scott came to see some of our other dogs as a possible adoption for their family, and fell in love with sickly, skinny Joel. Two days later Joel was neutered and after a week and a couple days of recovery, we delivered Joel to their house the morning after Christmas. His adoption was made possible through ADOPT ME GSD, and Jessica and Scott and the girls have been the perfect family for Joel, who is now Raja. Here's the amazing Raja rocking the distance down/stay with distractions. Excellent job Scott!

Less than 24 hours ago we picked King up at MCACC West. He was a human aggressive owner surrender who was going to be euthanized yesterday morning. Employees at MCACC called and asked if we could help this guy, so we went down and picked him up.

He had to be snared and forced into the kennel so I could take him. Once home we did some light walking with him and he was extremely reactive to any type of touch. I then decided it was safest for all of us, including the pack if he was muzzled.

He had to wear the muzzle for almost 20 hours. During that time I worked him and put pressure on him by reaching out to him and touching his collar. He went ballistic and tried to fight me with everything he had. We worked through that and he quickly calmed down and quickly became my best friend. This morning he was very affectionate and passed a few exercises to my satisfaction, so I removed the muzzle.
