Canes are happy to announce we are starting a second 13U team next year. This team will play primarily local tournaments with 1-2 over night kind of tournaments. The head coach of this team is Sean Kennedy. We are very excited to have Sean and his staff join the Canes family!!

13U Head Coach – Sean Kennedy
Coach Sean Kennedy was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois, where his love for baseball began at a young age. He played Little League baseball for Richwoods and later continued his baseball career at Richwoods High School. The lessons he learned through the game— hard work, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship continue to influence his coaching philosophy today.
Sean is passionate about helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. He believes youth baseball should be competitive, rewarding, and fun, with an emphasis on fundamentals, accountability, teamwork, and character

Canes Central IL is super excited to announce the next generation of Canes has its coach!! Coach Aaron Sidles is making a return back to the Canes!!

COACH BIO:
Aaron Sidles has been married for over 20 years and is a proud father of three boys. His passion for baseball has been centered around coaching and developing young athletes, including his sons throughout their playing careers.

Aaron spent many years coaching his middle son, beginning at age 5 and continuing through his graduation in 2024. He has extensive experience in travel baseball, coaching from the 8U level through 16U. During that time, he coached with the K-Hawks organization before transitioning to the Canes, where he spent a total of nine years helping players grow both on and off the field.

Aaron is excited to return to the Canes Family alongside his youngest son and looks forward to continuing to build competitive teams while fostering a love for the game.
