We share this as many of our teams use Kickapoo for a practice site in the spring/summer. So if you are looking for some fall fun with your team.......

Movie at the Ballpark is just under a week away! This is a free community event at the Kickapoo Ballpark. Uncle Mo’B BBq and Tropical Sno Peoria food trucks will be on site as well as the Kickapoo youth baseball association will have the concession stand open. Show time starts at Dusk, all you need to bring is your best friend and your favorite chair to sit on. Get out to the ball park and enjoy!

Today we lost a long time KHawks/Canes CI fan. Bill was the grandparent of one of Team Kenney's players that played his entire travel ball career with the KHawks/Canes. From 7U -17U. And Bill traveled with the team all over the Midwest those 10 years. Dedicated to cheering on his grandson, wearing his KHawks gear all the time and having the players autograph baseballs for him like they were major league players. Some of his prized possessions. We make this post with a heavy heart because we know he bleed KHawks Blue and Canes Black and Yellow with extreme pride,
He spoke of the program and his grandson so highly, often, and with such pride. He will be missed by many!

This is a returning staff, and players to the Canes family! This is a really hard working team. We have some big expectations for this team. Can't wait to see them continue to grow as players as they come into the recruiting years and prepare for their HS teams as well.

Congrats to all the boys making the team.
This is a new staff, and mostly new players to the Canes family! We can't wait to see these boy work this winter. Especially excited about this coaching staff. With them focused on fundamentally sound baseball first and growing the players baseball knowledge being the focus this year. So excited for coach BJ Turpen to join this staff and the Canes Family!!!
