I’ve had a few clients reaching out about swim lessons for the 2019 summer season. I will officially be starting swim season on Saturday, April 27th. Jaxon is doing an incredible job with his swim lessons. He has done a great job with his scoops and moving himself through the water. Having kiddos roll over on their back to breath is a great way for them to get enough air in, helps them to recoup for a second, and is a great way to move into side breathing. So proud of you, Jaxon!

Hayden is doing an awesome job with his survival swimming. Still working on getting his face in the water, but we were able to find a way to get him safely to the side using something that works for him. Way to go, Hayden! Every kiddo that I work with is so unique and I love that through getting to know them I’m able to improve their swimming skills and keep them safe in the pool.

Coltin is such a hard worker! 2 summers ago he didn’t even want to get off the steps into the pool and swim with me, but look at him now. He’s added some great technique to his swimming with the side breathing. Way to go, Coltin! I have some openings for swim lessons the week of June 18th and continuing throughout the summer. This is my second year getting to teach swim lessons to this sweet girl. Rylynn rocked the back float in her first swim lesson of the season! Way to go Rylynn!! I love getting to spend my Saturday with such incredible kiddos.

Colton did an incredible job at his first lesson today. He figured out how to roll from front to back float on his own and transferred it to his swimming. Way to go Colton! When working with students I start with the back float so that any children that fall into the pool will feel comfortable flipping over onto their back and paddling to the side safely. From there I am able to build on many more of the skills that children need to be safe in and around the water.
