Recently I've been asked if we need Subs....answer is absolutely! It's usually at the last minute.....best thing to do is come out around 630-640 teams usually request if any Subs are present.....see you Tuesday night!

As we get close to opening night, I will start my 20th consecutive season with the Peoria Square & Compass League as secrectary. There are a few people I'd wish to thank. Back in 2006 I was asked to be a secretary for Tuesday night summer league due to a former secretary, that didn't do the job. Thank you to Mark Cain, even tho he suckered me into the Fall league, I appreciate his friendship.

Next is Joe Janusz, he was League President for most of the years while I've been here, he also served as President of the Peoria River City USBC Local Association while I served as a Director....much appreciated my friend.

I have meet many people in this Peoria Bowling Community, and have made friends. You all are special.

Ray Ogden & Ann Ogden your dedication to the Peoria Bowling Community is amazing, thank you both for your services.

Judy Troxell...thank you for being..."you" you are one of the best secretaries in the community. Keep up the great work.

Last mention is John Wiesner owner of Mt. Hawley Bowl and Castle Golf working with you for the past 20 years has been great.

I will admit, I'm not perfect....and I highly doubt I'm Hall Of Fame River City USBC material, but it's been a pleasure working with you all in this League. May this League continue to strive and be competitive......

We have applied for the latest version of BLS. BLS 2027 will be available at the end of next week. We should be upgraded by the start of the 2026/27 season.

The PEORIA SQUARE & COMPASS BOWLING LEAGUE is looking for individual bowlers for Tuesday nights. Roll time is 7pm, and we're usually done by 10pm. If you're interested in joining a team, contact Mt Hawley Bowl. Opening night is August 25th.
