For our younger dancers, we are offering a summer session of both Caterpillar and Butterfly Combos to keep your little one dancing! This is a 4 week session, with classes starting next week (June 16th). It’s a great way for kids to try dance for the first time, or put on their dance shoes if they couldn’t get enough at recital! Information and registration can be found on our website > programs > summer > evening classes. Spots are VERY limited and filling up quickly! We will also have one-day themed camps, with dates released soon!’👀✨

Registration for our Summer Intensives is live! Intensives are open to the public aged 6-18, not just current MLSD students, and are a great way to prepare for our competition team auditions, middle or high school dance team prep, or to improve your technique this summer! Come train in ballet, floor barre, leaps, turns, conditioning, strength & stretch, modern, improv, progressions, acro, tap, and choreography classes. Our final graduating senior of 2026 is Sophia Miller! We have had a front row seat to watch Soph go from an extremely goofy and funny young girl, to a mature, thoughtful, kind young woman. She has a bit of a long drive to the studio, so chooses to spend a lot of time with us there and we joke that she actually lives at the studio. All the extra time working on her craft is evident when she dances, and her self-choreographed solo blows us away every time. We are soaking up every last minute of you on the stage, Soph!! We are so proud of you!

Our next 2026 Senior is Cara Patterson 💙🎓 She has been dancing for 13 years, and 6 at MLSD. We are so proud of the dancer and person she has become in that time! She’s always dependable, and her demeanor is the perfect calm to our crazy. 😊 Today also happens to be her 18th birthday, so join us in celebrating Cara!! 🎉

Congratulations to our Senior dancer, Julia!! We have absolutely loved having her at MLSD for the past 3 years…joining rec classes and standing out, and then stepping up as a leader of our Elite Company! Watching her evolve in such a short time has been really special to witness, and we are grateful for the positive influence she has had on so many others. She is also a wonderful teacher, always willing to help around her studio, and we are lucky to be able to have her on staff again next year! ☺️ Julia, we are proud to call you ours. You will always have a home at MLSD!

Today, let’s celebrate Jolie!! 🎓 She’s been with us forever, always quietly and humbly pushing others around her to be their best. We have watched her grow up on our stage! This recital is bittersweet as we are sad to say goodbye, but always amazed as we watch the dancer she’s become. Luckily, we will get to continue watching her shine on the UDA Nationals stage as she soon begins her time on the Lindenwood Lionline! We are forever proud of you, Jolie!!

Congratulations to MLSD Senior Addi Pepperell!! Addi is such a calm and sweet presence in the studio, which we all appreciate. She has become a wonderful dance teacher as well, and her love for her students is evident! During her final competition season, we have loved watching her tap solo inspired by her dad, as well as her duet with her younger sister Averie. We love you, Addi!👩🏼‍🎓
