On August 24th, the Ludington Area Pickleball Club graciously hosted PTPC for a potluck and social play. Players mixed together on the courts for the enjoyment of the clubs playing together.
This is an annual mixer hosted by LAPC. Plan to join in the fun next year so we have a large group of PTPC players.

Aside from various injuries keeping us off the courts, we still manage to get together for fun conversation and laughs. Connie, Mary Pat, Jackie, Cindy, Alina, Lisa , Joan and Pam. Another great summer of tennis and friendships. 🎾🎾🎾

Our end of season club dinner was especially meaningful as we dedicated the tennis courts to Walt Urick who has been a pillar of the club since it began over 50 years ago. We also dedicated the pickleball courts to Ron and Jan Gooding who are responsible for bringing Pickleball to our club, working on getting 6 permanent courts and continuing to promote and care for this clubs success. A new doubles ladder league is being launched at the TACC at Shelby Community Park. All double pairings are welcome.

PTPC had a great group participating in Pentwater’s 96th Homecoming Parade today.
The crowds were huge lining the streets and filling up downtown.

Players: Jackie and Steve Tracy, Dori and Hank Williams, Dorian and Rob DiPangrazio, Galina and Octavio Rodriguez, Emily Bagley, David Haynes, Alina Shaver and John DiPangrazio.

A big thanks to John DiPangrazio for organizing and running this fun annual event. Good food and great friends make these competitive matches happen.

There was plenty of court action and great plays last night for the Women’s Double Round Robin Pickleball Tournament! Such a beautiful evening for the players and spectators to enjoy the competition.

Winning teams were:
First Place: Carol Brewis & Michelle McLaughlin
Second Place: Any Maffeo & Christine Snider
Third Place: Cindy DiPangrazio & Dori Williams
