Hi my name is Capt Brent Daggett I own and operate Sportsmen Charters out of pentwater mi.

(St joe, new buffalo and Michigan city during April and May) We are a family run business operating 2 full time charter boats since 1997.

A nice 3 man limit from Sportsmen II Sunday morning. (Clients son is missing from pic). Sportsmen II still has Memorial Day morning open and we have a couple afternoon spots open over the holiday weekend. The fishing remains GOOD here in pentwater. Give us a call or text for other open dates or to get a trip booked.

We have this Thursday morning open and weather looks good if anyone wants to get out this week.

The spring king fishing continues to be VERY GOOD.

Captain Trevor and I took Sportsmen II on a shake down trip this morning and she is now ready for the charter season. We even caught a 2 man limit of kings.

We are also going to be running our 26’ center console boat this spring for groups of 1-3 people for $600.

The KINGS are here and the next 3 weeks can be some of the best fishing of the year. All 3 boats have open dates so give me a call and get a charter booked. 231-206-2820.

We fished our first trip out of Pentwater this morning and we caught a nice mess of kings and Trout. We are back from Mich City a week earlier then we were planing on so we have the next few days open if any one wants to get out and catch some nice spring fish. We also have openings next week on both Sportsmen and Sportsmen 2. This is just the start of our spring kings. Fishing should just keep improving over the next couple weeks.

We had a change in our spring schedule. We were going to go to St Joe to fish there tournament this coming weekend, but because the fishing in our home waters has been better then down south we decided to come home early. This opens up this coming weekend to run charters out of Pentwater. So if anyone wants to get in on some spring Kings and Trout just give us a call or text to 231-206-2820. The fishing in our home waters around Pentwater has been very good for the last couple weeks. Between Sportsmen and Sportsmen 2 we have other open mornings thought the month of May also. The rest of May is setting up to have some great spring king fishing. Give us a call to get in on some fun spring fishing.

We have one morning left open while we are at the south end of the lake. We have this Tuesday May 5th open and we will be fishing out of the port of St. Joe. We will be pre fishing for our tournaments there on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
