Saturday, 6 June 2026 - Storms in the area, along with the accompanying crosswinds and overcast skies, made for less-than-ideal flying conditions. Still, I wanted to get some flying in, and I had already planned to help Pilot Dylan set up and test his latest aircraft.
Despite being interrupted by a few pop-up showers, we managed several flights. I flew the Freewing F-14A Tomcat 64mm, which still needs a bit more tweaking and testing under better conditions. I also flew the Freewing F-22A Raptor 90mm V2, which I can now confidently say is fully dialed in and locked in.
As an added bonus, I completed successful test flights on Pilot Dylan's E-flite Habu and XFly F/A-18F Blue Angels. Both flew well and gave him a solid starting point for future flights.
Considering the weather, it turned out to be a productive day at the field with several successful flights and valuable setup work accomplished.
