We are so fortunate to have a skatepark as fun and pristine as the Blake Doyle Skatepark in downtown Pensacola. That does NOT mean we shouldn’t be pushing for smaller skate spots within neglected neighborhoods that would serve as a bridge to bringing communities together.

We absolutely need more third spaces within the City of Pensacola to give long time locals a place to connect and interact with folks that live right around our corners.

We’re not done pushing. Not even close. 🛹🛼🚲

Exciting updates via - “Escambia to replace skate equipment at Chimes Way park after outcry.”

This is why we show up as a community and tell our elected officials what we want/need in our public spaces. No one is going to make this happen unless we demand change. Why are we removing skate spaces instead of talking about adding more?

Next up… Gull Point Skatepark. 🤘🛹

Quick update from Gull Point - the park is still empty (obviously), but the gate has been unlocked and open from the neighborhood to the park for the past week, and the graffiti on the wall has been painted over. Something is happening.

However, we still wait on any sort of word from the city or updates regarding what is next for our dear skatepark. Our friends at put some feelers out to try and gain some clarity on the situation but have recieved no response. It has now been three weeks since our park was taken away, and we are prepared to be a little more adamant in figuring out when we can expect to have something built back. Join us! 🌞🛹
