This page is dedicated to promoting the Coastal Shotokan Karate classes taught in Gulf Breeze and Pensacola, Florida. Monday, Wednesday and Friday we have traditional karate classes in Gulf Breeze at the Gulf Breeze Rec Center located at 800 Shoreline Drive at 6:00 PM. We are also starting new classes at the Bayview Center on Bayou Texar in Pensacola Monday and Thursday at 6:00 PM. Stop by and try a class out any night and bring a friend.

Sad News – Chief Instructor Ueki Masaaki

On July 14th, 2024, Chief Instructor Ueki Masaaki (10th Dan), who had been undergoing treatment for an illness, passed away. He was 85 years old. We would like to offer our deepest condolences.

The funeral has already been held with only family members present, in accordance with the wishes of the bereaved family. The JKA are planning to hold a memorial service in the near future. The date and other details will be announced later.

May he rest in peace.
