I want to be transparent. Over the past couple of months I haven’t been feeling myself. I’ve gained a few pounds and felt a bit out of control when it comes to my routine. My job is unpredictable right now and it keeps me busy so I love it, but it’s also the most social job I’ve had in several years.

Balancing a social life is probably the most difficult for me when it comes to creating sustainable habits and healthy relationships. I tend to isolate when I’m very focused on my health + fitness goals.

A positive I will say is that because of the extra weight, I’m lifting heavier which feels awesome. But I don’t love the extra body fat and I struggle with the fact that I lost so much weight just to gain 6 pounds back. It’s discouraging and hard to accept for me. If you know you know 🤣🥲 But I’m ready for a winter cut! 🫠

I didn’t grow up in sports. I grew up in dance.

If you weren’t skinny, you weren’t pretty. Your body is a part of the display—and anybody can tell you your turnout looks weird because your thighs are too fat. Your body type determines your role in a company. You’re put into a mold.

All I wanted was to be seen. To belong.

But I’ve learned that strength doesn’t come from fitting into molds. It comes from owning who you are. You are unique and you DO belong. I see you.

My body has carried me through years of movement, discipline, and artistry. I’m proud of it now — not because it’s ‘perfect,’ but because it’s mine.

And honestly… that’s everything.
