Colorado National Speedway - update 8/22/26

Matt qualified 21st and finished 5th in his heat. This meant he would go onto start on the pole of the B feature where he finished 2nd transferring him into the A feature. He went on to start 18th in the A and finished the evening in 20th

**Update: We started out Saturday with a really fast car but went a direction with the setup that just didn’t work out. It’s an unfortunate end to the year for the wing car and doesn’t show the speed that we have gained throughout the year but it is information for our notebook. We finished 10th in the points among the best asphalt sprint car drivers in the world! The next race for the sprint car will be at Anderson in September. Thanks to everyone that helped to make this trip successful.

Good afternoon, MDR fans! The crew made the 17hr drive out to Colorado National Speedway for the final Race for the Million event where Matt is currently 9th in the standings.

Today is a practice day with tomorrow, August 22nd being the main event.

Hot shoe race Update - 9/8/26

Matt qualified 3rd and after a complete field inversion started 22nd in the 100 lap feature.

Unfortunately 77 laps in as he was battling for 3rd place he broke resulting in a DNF.

Definitely not the way we had hoped to end our weekend, but we still are grateful for all our crew and fans that came to support us.

We are here at Kalamazoo Speedway for the Hot Shoe 100

We will kick off the day with two, 45min practice sessions set for 12:30 & 1:45.
Qualifying will be at 4:00 with Autograph session from 4:45-5:30 and Racing to begin at 6:00.
