I would like to let everyone know that if you have a Cobia Classic or Cobia Invitational t shirt or hat that it is now a collectors item. I have decided to stop hosting both of our tournaments after 32 years. I feel that it is best for the fishery to take a break for a while. If the fishery rebounds I might bring them back with a different format that includes much more emphasis on catch and release. I have enjoyed the years of hosting them and I will miss the Captain’s meetings and seeing all of my friends. I want to thank all the sponsors and anglers that helped make it happen since 1987. Thank you again for all your support.

The awards ceremony for the 2018 Outcast Cobia Classic will be held Sunday, May 6 at Sam's Seafood Steak and Spirits in Pensacola. The doors will open at 6:00 PM and dinner will start at 6:30!
