Frequently asked questions:
1. What is the youngest age? The preferred age is at least 3 years old with a comfortability around water. I highly recommend ISR (infant survival) for children younger than 3.
2. What will my child learn? I start with the basics: blowing bubbles, floating, and kicking. Once those have been mastered, we will progress to learning freestyle and backstroke as well as bui
lding endurance. For those beyond the basics, we will work on competitive swimming instruction.
3. What is your experience? I have been a competitive swimmer for 8 years. In addition to being a swimmer myself, I have been an assistant swim instructor for a middle school program and GPAC's summer league program. I also work part-time for GPAC's swim school at Pensacola State College.
4. Can you teach more than 1 child at a time? To get the most out of your time and money, I prefer to teach one-on-one. We can schedule siblings back-to-back though!
5. How often are lessons? You can schedule 2 times a week, once a week, or less frequently.
6. Payment accepted: I accept Venmo or cash at the time of instruction.
