Tires make race cars fast. Unfortunately, we got a bad set that we practice with. We made changes not realizing it was the tires at that point. So last night was not the greatest showing, but it was definitely a learning moment. We qualified 9th and finished 9th. Our next race will be June 12th at Five Flags Speedway!

Today, we conducted some testing. Unfortunately, a brief shower forced us to load the equipment into the trailer. Of course, once everything was loaded, the sun emerged. One must appreciate the unpredictability of the Gulf Coast. We will be racing on Friday, May 29th.

Our first race of the season was set to take place on May 1st, but the rain proved to be the ultimate winner at Five Flags Speedway. Although we have yet to complete the lettering, this is the design our car would have sported for our inaugural event. Wow! Crazy weekend for us!
Friday night practice was pretty good with the car running decent but with a oil leak. Get to the track on Saturday and that’s when things went absolutely nuts! Not to make this a documentary. Let’s just say we had our hands full and made the best of what we had with a 9th place finish with a crazy Saturday.
We will get ready for the Snowball Derby.
