GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY HOSTS NASCAR MODIFIED & SPORTSMAN THIS SATURDAY

KUBOTA HIGH LIMIT 410 SPRINT MIDWEEK ROTO ROOTER SERIES TUESDAY MAY 20

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway will be presenting a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series two-division program of Modified and Sportsman racing this Saturday night.

The program this Saturday, May 17 will feature the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman in a night of action which will include qualifying events for both classes leading up to the 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature and the 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature event.

The starting time will be changing this week to 7:30 pm on May 17, which is the starting time for the remainder of all Saturday shows for the summer season.

Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:30 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $20, students ages 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

This Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the weekly Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted this week by Brittany Huber. The drivers scheduled to participate include the father and son Modified racing duo of Doug and Cody Manmiller.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area starting at 5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.

Saturday’s program will be the first in a series of race events recorded and produced by ATVN-TV. The Astound TV Network (ATVN) will be recording the race events this Saturday, with the race event broadcast to be shown on a tape-delayed basis. The heat races will be a complete program shown on the following Tuesday night, while the features will air the following Friday evening, with further replays to follow.

ATVN airs on channel 4/1004 HD (Lehigh Valley) and channel 8 /608 HD in Delaware County. Additional air dates and times of the races can be found at astound.com/ATVN. The 2025 season will be the 23rd year for ATVN at Grandview Speedway, and once again Mike Feltenberger and Randy Kane will be the hosts on the broadcast.

The first Thunder on the Hill racing series event is next week on Tuesday, May 20, as Levan Machine & Truck Equipment presents the Rich Mar Florist Kubota High Limit 410 Sprints in the Roto-Rooter Mid-Week Series.

The program includes time trials, and qualifying events leading up to the 35-lap feature event that pays $20,000 to win and $1500 to start the main event. The program also includes the Alpine Building Supply Vintage Cars in action with two 12-lap feature events.

Advance tickets for the May 20 event are currently available at TicketHoss.com. or will be available at the Speedway this Saturday night May 17. Advance ticket holders get to enter the grandstand at 4:30 pm, through the first turn gate, followed by general admission tickets going on sale and the main gate opening at 5 pm. Time trials start at 6:35 pm, with the show set to begin at 7:30 pm. A rain date of Wednesday, May 21 is in place if needed.

General admission tickets on race night for May 20 are $40 for adults, children 6-11 are $20, children 5 and under will be admitted for free. The Pit Fee is $45 and a license is not required. (Pit tickets are not available at Ticket Hoss).

The 2024 race season saw twelve different winners in the T.P. Trailer Modified division and following last Saturday night’s Twin 25-lap program, three features have been run so far this year and there have been three different winners, with Brian Hirthler, Brett Kressley and Chris Esposito reaching victory lane.

These three drivers along with other top point contenders will be in action this Saturday including Mike Gular, Craig Von Dohren, Louden Reimert, Jared Umbenhauer, Logan Watt, Duane Howard, Tim Buckwalter, Eddie Strada, and three dozen drivers who will be trying for the win this Saturday night.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman drivers have completed two features thus far this season, and both have been won by drivers scoring their first ever Grandview Speedway feature win, with Colin Cox and Lawson Szerencits picking up the checkered flags.

They will be joined this week by top point drivers Dylan Swinehart, Nathan Mohr, Adrianna Delliponti, Kenny Gilmore, Mike Schneck Jr., Mike Stofflet, Kyle Hartzell, Dakota Kohler, Teague Miller and over three dozen drivers looking for a feature win on Saturday night.

Racing action the following Saturday, May 24, will be a triple-header as the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and the T. P. Truck Equipment Sportsman will be joined by the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars for their first Saturday night appearance of the year.
