Friends of Yellow Creek and LHORBA were represented at Pennsylvania Environmental Council's Western PA Trails and Greenways Summit earlier today. It was a very informative conference; thanks for having us!

Please refrain from riding at Yellow Creek this Sunday, July 26th. The annual Run With The Deer Flies trail running race will be taking place. This includes Billy Goat, Damsite, and all trails on the north side. (Simpson Trail is OK since it's not used.) This is likely the last year that Bill will be hosting this race, so c'mon out Sunday morning for day-of registration if you'd like to take part! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️

Throwback photo! September of 2019 - when current Pittsburgh Marathon winner, Will Loevner (second from left) came in first place in our Expert category. Will went on to do the Wilderness 303 (the Wilderness 101 course back to back to back!) and is currently crushing marathons. Muddy one today! 🌧️ Thanks to all who still came out to brave the rain. Also big thanks to Bryan at for sponsoring our timing this time around. No one conquered Brandon & Katy, so they went home with a little more cash in their pockets. Proper photography to follow. ✌🏼️
