ERRA Barracudas Welcome to the official page of the ERRA Barracudas swim team, located in Penn Laird/Rockingham, VA. We'd love to have you join our team!

We are the ERRA Barracudas! Our philosophy is to provide an environment where our swimmers can work hard, have fun, and strive to become stronger swimmers while demonstrating great sportsmanship! Our pool is located at the East Rockingham Recreation Association in Penn Laird.

Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate with us last night for our final meet against Westover.
Both teams discussed multiple rescheduling options, but the decision was made to officially cancel the meet entirely and it will not be rescheduled.
Now - let's get ready for Champs!!!

Champs is around the corner which means the Champs booklet is currently being designed.

Here’s a quick video that explains what the Champs heat sheets are and how they help our team & celebrate your swimmer! Our team can keep any funds raised after $250!

The pool is closing due to weather so ALL practices are CANCELED for the evening. Stay safe & we'll see everyone tomorrow.

The pool deck has been cleared due to lightening. Considering the forecast is potentially calling for severe thunderstorms, we will be CANCELING all practices this evening to keep everyone safe.

All swimmers should come ready for in-water practice or dryland this evening.
Reminder that there is NO practice tomorrow, 6/4 or Friday, 6/5 due to pool availability.

Please plan for Dryland practice tonight (June 2nd).
All swimmers should bring tennis shoes & dryland clothes & plan to be out of the water.

Reminder this does NOT include Jr Barracudas & we will not be doing any assessments.

In-Water practice starts TONIGHT!!!
IF you still needed to have a swimmer assessed, please email [email protected] so we can add you to the list. We will start assessments promptly at 7pm before practice begins.

*Schedule change**
Our coaches are so excited to get the season started that we have added a practice for tomorrow (Tuesday, June 2nd) to the calendar.
Remember these early season evenings can be on the cooler side so bring plenty of towels/warm clothes for after in-water practice & always have clothes/shoes for dryland just in case.
