SaEFan, the Head Coach of the Fencing Club, has written a book entitled "Future History, 2645 from 1945". To be ava ilable from Amazon by end of June 2025. " Future History" (FH) is a SciFi vision of our civilization's evolution from mid 20th Cent'y to the author's own day in 2645 CE. For the book, the author is a self taught historian.
In 200 pages, SaEFan describes developments from 1945 thru 2645, in technology, physics, economics, biology, intelligence natural and artificial, space exploration and exploitation, mores and morals, contact with Extra-Terrestrials (ETs), and apps the only practical solution to Global Warming (GloW), along with its outcomes.
Telepathy and afterworld are broached. Because both are still being discussed, SaEFan brings us up to date without finalizing the subjects. Indeed cannot.
From 600 years of family archives, SaEFan selects excerpts to humanize subjects dryer than dessicated 5000 year old Egyptian mummies.
Negative byproducts from evolution are also described, along with corrective actions. The main negatives were Climate Change by Global Warming (GloW), pollution of all nature around the globe, and the struggle of our species to overcome instincts to lash out and create havoc, when calm rational responsibility would be better. So yes, culture evolved.
Evolution affects medicine, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Energy Sciences. Medicine leaps forward. Engineering AI breakthroughs lead to what had been discussed in fiction since the 19th Cent’y, including new life forms. Basically, mankind becomes Creator, with all that implies regarding divinity.
The Galaxy is opened to exploration, and the de-facto presence of non-Terrans becomes tacitly known and accepted. Most importantly, Terrans successfully reorganize sociopolitics, to prevent further armed conflicts.
