A fresh start....
Time to get moving and take on the week ahead.
After my day of snacking yesterday my workout was much needed this morning....
Remember....
It’s ok to indulge a little
Have an unhealthy snack here or there.
You are only human....
Just don’t make it a habit....
Get back on track the next day.

Sometimes, I get frustrated when I am in the middle of a program and I don’t see the changes I was hoping for
And then I find old pictures like this
Making me realize how far I have come.
And I am happy at where I am
Remember at how far you have come.

Today’s workout pushed me to my limits.
And quite honestly, I did not think I could do it.
That self doubt started to creep in half way through.
But then I thought back to two years ago when I started this journey...
How I could not even do a push up without falling to my knees.
How I couldn’t lift more than 5 lbs
Or do a burpee without modifying ....
And then I knew....
I could do this.
I can do difficult things.
I finished the workout today feeling accomplished
Feeling strong
Conquer your self doubts and know that you are doing better than the day before.
Believe in yourself......
Whatever the task may be.
You got this 💪🏻

Sunday prep day....
Taking time this morning to set myself up for success this week as far as my nutrition goes.
On the menu this week:
Super greens egg cups, sweet potato hash and mixed fruit for breakfast
Salad topped with roasted chicken (left over from dinner last night) for lunch
Crispy chick peas, apples and protein bars for my snacks....
All set and ready to go within a couple of hours
Now off to enjoy my afternoon.

Sometimes life can get crazy
And you need to take it easy and slow it down...
Even if it’s only for 30 minutes
It’s a great way to start the day (or end it if you are a night owl)
Love my “me time”....
How about you?
Do you allow yourself time?
If not, try to start that this week.
Set aside a few minutes a day
Just for you
Do yoga
Meditate
Read a book
Knit....
Whatever brings you joy and eases your mind.
Just do it....and enjoy 😊

Especially at the end of a long day...
It relaxes me.
I like all types of books
But lately, I have gravitated towards books on personal development.
Books that make me think and step out of my comfort zone.
Books that show me new possibilities. New ways to do things.
This is my latest read that I just started tonight.

Celebrating these badass ladies and their results after three weeks of doing a new 9 week program.
Together, we have all gotten over the “hump” of phase 1....
Some have lost weight,
Some have lost inches,
Others are sleeping better and have more energy....
All of us have noticed positive changes in our bodies.
We are in different stages in our health and fitness,
Different stages in life.
But one thing we all have in common is we are taking control of our lives.
Together.
