Our Story

The Capoeira Superação Arts & Fitness Studio opened our doors in January of 2018 as a neighborhood center promoting the Afro-Brazilian martial art of Capoeira in southwest Broward and its surrounding communities. We offer classes in fitness, martial arts, music and culture to all ages and abilities.

We are alway looking for new members who will bring a positive attitude and the determination to push themselves past their comfort level. Capoeira is a great way to get in shape and learn more about yourself in the process. Self-defense it taught with an emphasis on being prepared and practice with active resistance to model real life situations.

Inspiring our Capoeira SuperKids, ages 3 - 12 and Capoeira SuperTeens, ages 13 - 18 to learn capoeira and it’s rich cultural tradition is a central focus of our mission. Fitness, Self-Defense, Acrobatics, Music & Instruments, Brazilian Portuguese and History are all included in our basic program.
