Super proud of this team already this year.

We’re only ONE WEEK into season registration and we already have over 100 hours of trail work on the books.

We spent this morning trimming back the jungle known as Markham Park giving back to the trails that give our kids a place to ride, learn, race, and grow.

Then we wrapped up the day celebrating one of our athletes’ 16th birthday.

Cake + bicycles = pretty much the perfect combination.

2027 season registration is officially open, and Panther Composite is preparing to welcome around 40 kids. Now we need your help making sure every one of them gets the season they deserve.

More kids means more volunteer coaches, more practices, more trail-work days, more equipment, more opportunities and a whole lot more smiles.

We grew from 12 athletes to 27 last season, and we aren’t slowing down. Panther Composite has no tryouts and no cuts. If a kid is willing to learn, work hard and be part of the team, we want them with us.

But that growth comes with real needs. More race-day supplies, more equipment, more transportation and more families who may need a little help making the season possible.

You don’t have to make a huge donation to make a difference. Give $10, $20 or whatever you can. If you can’t donate, sharing this post helps us reach someone who can.

This isn’t just about racing bikes. It’s about getting kids outside, building confidence, teaching them not to quit and showing them what it means to give back to the trails and the community that support them.

Trail Update

We were back out at Markham again today, and I’m happy to say we made some big progress.

Coach Ryan, Donovan, and a few other awesome volunteers spent the morning tackling more of the storm damage. We cleared an absolutely massive tree that had Iguana completely blocked, removed a good sized tree that was down across both Las Olas and Fat Tire, and cleared another tree that was blocking the Whale Tail interchange.

We also spent a lot of time clearing countless smaller branches and limbs scattered throughout the trail system. It may not be as exciting as taking down the big trees, but it’s just as important to getting the trails safe and rideable again.

There’s still a lot left to do, but we’re making progress one tree at a time. We’ll be back out again tomorrow morning to keep chipping away at it.

Thank you to everyone who came out to help today. Whether you brought a chainsaw, picked up branches, hauled debris, or just showed up ready to work, every single person out there made a difference. Every set of hands gets these trails open a little sooner, and we couldn’t do it without you. 💙

Yesterday’s storm hit Markham hard.

Coach Chopper and I spent the morning out on the trails clearing trees, moving debris, and trying to get a better idea of just how much damage was done. Every time we’d clear one tree, another one would reveal another down behind it. It’s going to take a lot of work to get everything back open and safe.

Unfortunately, K-Truck took the biggest hit. A massive tree came down across the cab, causing some serious damage.

These trails are home to Panther Composite. They’re where our athletes learn, grow, build confidence, and create friendships that last a lifetime. Without these trails, there is no Panther Composite.
