And now…. We’d like to welcome to the podium…. for their very first time….. BLACK LOTUS!!!!!

This has been a very long and hard work in progress for this team. Between a complete team rebuild a few years ago to bumping up to D4 this year, we couldn’t be more proud of the growth this team has made.

We are so so grateful for all of our amazing friends, old and new, that assisted and supported us throughout the day. The vibes today were through the roof! And a HUGE thank you to Eastern Paintball League staff for today!

Lastly, a huge special thank you and CONGRATULATIONS to our family Nocturnalz Paintball Team. Playing against you guys in finals was truly a dream come true.

NAME/JERSEY #: My name is Gabe Snyder () and my jersey number is #11!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING PAINTBALL?: I started playing paintball in 2014 and decided to start Black Lotus and play competitively in 2015.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PAINTBALL?: My favorite thing about paintball is the people and the outlet that it gives me. Building friendships, relationships, and watching people grow.

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF!: This is Black Lotus’ 8th official season as a team and through many changes we have found a very good tight knit squad this year. We are moving up in the world of paintball and I’m very excited for the goals our team has ahead of us.

NAME/JERSEY #: My name is T.J Shemeley ( ) and my jersey number is #9!

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING PAINTBALL?: I’ve been playing paintball for 4 years.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT PAINTBALL?: Competing. Being able to battle all day knowing that by the end of it all, it was all left out on the field.

TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF!: Why do I play?
Family! My son Gavin and I started about the same time. It was supposed to be just him! LoL But the more I was on the field or out in the woods, the more it started to sink in… I can do this! May not always be right, may not always help the team, but I stick with it and continue to grow and learn each season!!

So now, after 4 years… you might ask… what has paintball given me? My answer… ‘Family’…!!
