For the entire month of April Upstate CMA will be hosting a 1-month-FREE-trial of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for adult friends and family of any current member.

This is an awesome opportunity for anyone who knows one of our adult or youth students, to jump in and learn a martial art right alongside them!

We think it’s so important to prioritize time for oneself as an adult, and martial arts is a perfect vehicle for self evolution and expression.

Mothers, fathers, grandparents, cousins, aunts, or uncles, etc — come explore a new skill with this offer!

Big congratulations to our students at Upstate CMA for earning their new belts yesterday! They demonstrated a high level of focus and effort which is exactly what we ask for. We’re thankful we have the opportunity to coach you!

Little Dragons being introduced here to the very basic concept of a double leg takedown! We discuss how to change levels, and take someone down who may be throwing punches at us. We are reminded that it is never okay for a bully to attack us physically! In the rare circumstance that no adult is around to intervene, it is acceptable to use what we learn in karate to keep ourselves safe! 👍🏼 The more we know, the safer we are. 💪🏽 Awesome focus, Little Dragons!
