Survival Skills Workshop

Survival Skills Workshop August 26th from 1-4pm. Learn the basics of wilderness survival! Location will be announced at a later date.

Learn about & get hands-on experience with:
-water purification
-fire building
-wild edibles
-shelter building
-getting rescued

A talented team of outdoor enthusiasts from around Iowa will be teaching these topics and more on August 26th at 1pm! Geared toward kids ages 8 & up, but adults are welcome!

Since the winter months are now upon us, there will be no more Survival Skills Workshops for the remainder of the winter. We plan to resume workshops sometime in the spring. Let us know if you have suggestions for locations for future workshops or ideas to improve our programs!

Be on the lookout for upcoming Survival Skills Workshops all over Iowa, as well as other outdoor workshops on multiple topics!

Survival Skills Workshop in DES MOINES, IA!

What: A fun, hands-on workshop about the basics of wilderness survival (with a new section on cold-weather survival)!

Who: Anyone ages 8 & up (parents are welcome welcome to attend!)
