Excited to finally share the news! IDPA is hosting their 2027 World Championship at Brock’s Gap! Huge news for the range and a testament to all the hard work our members have put in to building a world class facility.

The International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) is excited to announce that the Fifth IDPA World Championship will take place September 17–19, 2027, at the prestigious Brock's Gap Training Center in Pell City, Alabama.

The World Championship will bring together the top IDPA competitors from around the globe to compete in one of the sport's premier events. The championship is currently scheduled as a three-day competition, with the potential to expand to a fourth day should competitor registration warrant the additional capacity.

Sig Sauer is hosting a Shoot Sig event at our range this weekend. Shoot Sig is a “fun and approachable competition for all skill levels”. It’s a quick event (3 stages that can be completed in less than an hour) with random prizes and demo guns brought in by Sig. The event will be both Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th from 9:30am through 4:00pm. Check the link in bio for more info!

The NRL22 June course of fire is set at Brocks Gap and available for practice to members. Anyone wishing to practice as a guest interested in Membership should please contact me at [email protected]. Our matches are held on the third Saturday of the month with this month’s details as follows.

Thanks to our new ClubExpress site, we now have a built-in community forum where members can connect, share information, and stay engaged with the club. Members can create and reply to posts on all kinds of topics from lost-and-found items and equipment questions to match discussions, tips, announcements, and more.

We also have several public-facing forums where members can post about upcoming events, matches, and activities that can be viewed by the public, helping us showcase everything happening at the range.
