Brock's Gap Training Center is an organization dedicated to fi****ms education and training as well as the promotion and advancement of all shooting sports. The organization was established in 1962, and since that time has focused on providing the community with a safe place to learn and hone safe firearm handling skills and to enjoy firearm-related recreational and competitive endeavors. Througho

ut its history, Brock's Gap's facilities have provided training to the Boys Scouts, ROTC units, local Police Departments, military units, other civic and charitable organizations as well as individual citizens. Brock's Gap Training Center is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization and is continuously improving its facilities in order to better serve the growing greater-Birmingham area.

Members — have you checked out the new forum feature on our updated website at brocksgap.com?

Thanks to our new ClubExpress site, we now have a built-in community forum where members can connect, share information, and stay engaged with the club. Members can create and reply to posts on all kinds of topics from lost-and-found items and equipment questions to match discussions, tips, announcements, and more.

We also have several public-facing forums where members can post about upcoming events, matches, and activities that can be viewed by the public, helping us showcase everything happening at the range.

This is a great new way to stay connected with fellow members and keep the conversation going, but we need some engagement to get it going. Jump in, start a discussion, and help us build an active online community!

This is the Sig Sauer Cross Sawtooth in 6.5 PRC. I’m really enjoying 6.5 PRC, it gives you more range and near magnum power in a short action. Anyone out there shooting 6.5 PRC? If so what are your thoughts on it?

Had a great weekend shooting at the range! Was fortunate enough to have the chance to use a thermal with 8.6 BLK and was amazed at how well you could see the bullets in flight and even hitting the targets. Anyone else out there using thermals? Hope everyone had a great weekend!

BGTC NRL22 December Match

Practiscore registration is open and the Course of Fire is set up for the December NRL 22 match at Brocks Gap. Time is always at a premium during the holiday season and the match is only three weeks away. On the bright side, however, there are an additional five days till Christmas after the match. So please plan accordingly and come shoot with us on December 20th if you can. Hope to see you there and if not, Happy Holidays to all!
