Sometimes our instructors will hear things like, do you, "just" teach kids? The answer is, "no" we do not "just" teach kids.

Family Martial Arts of Pelham has developed it's children's programs to include, "four year old's only" "five and six year olds," seven to ten year old's, and "eleven to fifteen" year old's."

All of our classes are taught with that particular age group in mind. Our training, and continuing education is geared toward how to reach and teach the specific age groups, better! Our instructors train not only in the martial arts but in the art and science of teaching, so as to be able to encourage, motivate, and empower young minds and bodies!

Each class provides, professional black belt instruction, role models, a specific curriculum for consistent improvement and advancement, and a safe, positive and fun learning environment!

Over the years, Family Martial Arts of Pelham has had countless students train for twelve plus years before going off to college!

Our instructors are committed and have a strong heart for helping children of all ages become the best they can be through good martial arts training! And, we have done so, since 1992.

A quick picture between events at the Uechi Invitational Tournament. Two of our Junior students posing with Sifu. These two worked so hard preparing for the tournament. We are very proud! Plus, they are supported by such wonderful parents. Family Martial Arts is lucky to have them as part of our dojo!

TOURNAMENT INFO…

PARENTS…Beginning tomorrow and for the next three Friday’s we will having a special Tournament Prep class for all students who are entering the Uechi Invitational Tournament on Sunday, March 29th. The class will help prepare students for what to expect and to get some extra practice in so they are ready to do their best!

The class will start at 6:10 and will run for approximately thirty minutes.

Attention Parents and Students: Due to the snowstorm the dojo will be closing at 6:30 tonight.

The following classes will be cancelled for this evening:

5:00-Parks and Recreation class (final class is rescheduled to next Tuesday)

6:30-Young Adult

6:30-Leadership Team

7:15-Adult class

Please feel free to attend another day to make up any missed classes. Be safe!

A picture of commitment! He flew back from Florida with his Mom this morning and attended the remainder of our Day Camp and then returned a few hours later to assist with one of our Little Ninja (5&6 year old) classes! All while keeping a smile, a tan and a great attitude. Great student—Great kid!
