Serving our mission beyond our branch walls. ๐
Today marked the end of the first week of our Summer Lunch Program at the Green Park South community.
Thanks to the generosity of our Annual Campaign donors, individuals who donated non-perishable food items, our community partners, and our incredible volunteers, we were able to serve more than 120 lunches during our first week.
A special thank you to Pelham Chick-fil-A, Maya Mexican Restaurant, and Pelham Dominoโs for helping provide meals, and to our volunteers for spending time engaging with the children and families we serve.
Through our partnership with Backpack Buddies, we have also been able to send children home with food for the weekend, helping ensure they have access to meals beyond the school year.
Thank you for helping us strengthen community and make a difference in the lives of local families. ๐
