🍎🎨🎃 A little peek at all the fun our Y Little Learners have been having lately!

From Color Week and learning all about Johnny Appleseed during Apple Week to lots of hands-on activities, learning, and laughter, our Pre-K friends have been busy making memories! ❤️

We wrapped up the last few weeks of fun with a special field trip to the pumpkin patch alongside our friends from the Hoover YMCA ! 🎃🍂

We love watching our little learners explore, grow, and make new friends along the way! 💙

🌟 Meet Our Team Monday: Meet Leah! 🌟

Meet Leah L., one of our wonderful Group Exercise instructors at the Pelham YMCA! 💙

Leah joined the Y in the summer of 2024 and teaches Yoga and Pilates classes.

💬 What’s Leah’s favorite part about working at the Y?
“I love the people, the staff, the culture, environment, and the mission. Being a part of this community is rewarding!”

💬 What motivates Leah?
“I want to help people grow in their health and spirit, discovering how God made them to be unique and purpose built.”

✍️ Fun fact: Leah is also an author and editor! She loves to write and help others tell their story.

🎃 Last night’s Kids Night Out was full of fun, laughter, and a little Halloween magic!

The kids had a blast playing games, having fun with friends, and showing off their costumes. And for those who didn’t come dressed up, we made sure they got in on the Halloween fun, too!

Say hello to Miranda, our new Family Life Coordinator! 💙 After 3 years at the Y, her favorite part is “being part of a place where kids feel safe, encouraged, and excited to be themselves.”

🏰 Fun fact: She’s a Disney-loving mom of three who enjoys outdoor family adventures!

Miranda is excited to help shape a growing program by planning new activities and finding new ways to make every family feel welcome.
