Calling all long-time Pekin ice skaters! ⛸️

A local resident recently handed us a true piece of Pekin Park District history—these vintage brass-and-silver Memorial Arena tokens!

Before digital passes, scan codes, or computers, tokens like this were the ticket to getting into facilities and venues. But because it’s been so long since they were in circulation, finding anyone who remembers all the details isn't easy!

Help us fill in the history books:

Free, family-friendly concert in Mineral Springs Park at the Performing Arts Venue this Saturday, Sept. 5th, 5:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Bring your lawn chairs and join us in the beverage garden for an evening with Taylor Bruninga. Concessions, drinks, and food trucks are available.
