Pekin Dragons JFL PYFL is here to develop youth athletes into community leaders using football and cheer as tools for growth. Pekin JFL is a youth football organization.

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and educational environment for the young athletes of Pekin to grow as football players. We start with the basics and work up from there. No experience is required to participate in any of our divisions. From our in house Flag program to our travel and tournament 14U teams we encourage any young athlete to give football a try. At the heart of our organization is

a love and passion for the game and the life lessons it can teach. You would be hard pressed to find a former football player that wouldn't say football changed their life. We have many program alumni from all walks of life that would probably credit football as a contributing factor of their success. From the Union Tradesmen to Suit and Tie professionals that have worn our uniform they all have one thing in common, at a young age they decided to play the game and it challenged them, taught them team work, how to deal with adversity, how to get knocked down and get back up and countless other valuable life lessons. That is why we are here. To provide the youth with an opportunity to play the game we love, to give them an chance to learn the lessons we've learned, to help them grow and flourish as young men and women and to help forge unbreakable bonds with their teammates many of who will become lifelong friends. Some of the most important lessons our athletes will learn won't come from a scoreboard.
They'll come from the coaches who show up every day, teach them to work hard, overcome adversity, support their teammates, and never quit when things get tough.

As a Pekin JFL coach, you'll have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young athletes—not just as football players, but as future leaders, teammates, and members of our community. You'll guide them through victories and setbacks, celebrate their accomplishments, and help them grow in confidence both on and off the field.
Years from now, they may not remember every play, but they'll remember the coaches who believed in them.

We're looking for dedicated men and women ready to make a difference. Coach registrations need to be completed soon, and we'd love to have you join our JFL family.
