Our draft is officially finished, and teams have been selected for the upcoming season! 🎉

We wanted to take a minute to explain what a DRAFT is and how the process works, especially for families who may be new to our league.

A DRAFT is the process used to divide registered players among the teams in each division. Coaches take turns selecting players until every registered child has been placed on a team.

A child cannot be placed or traded to a team in order to stay with friends. I understand how this can be frustrating for parents, but if that was the case, we’d have to make that exception for everyone & there would be no purpose to “draft” in the first place.

The goal of the draft is to create teams that are as fair and balanced as possible across the division. The draft is designed to give coaches an opportunity to build their teams while keeping the league competitive and fair for everyone.

With that being said, coaches will receive their rosters and begin reaching out to their families. Please allow up to one week for your child’s coach to contact you.
