The Off-Broadway Theater Booster Club at Shadow Creek (the “OBTBC”) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of family members of the Off Broadway Theatre program students at Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas (“SCHS”). Our purpose is to help raise funds for educational trips, production support, performance and training opportunities, and annual scholarships for graduating senior
theater students, as well as to be supportive of the Fine Arts community of SCHS. The OBTBC is proud to have provided thousands of dollars in scholarships to SCHS theatre students to attend college. Each year, graduating theatre students are encouraged to apply for a scholarship by submitting an application and essay to the scholarship committee. We hope to raise enough funds to continue to be able to award at least 2-4 scholarships each year. The OBTBC has also provided support for procuring hard to attain props, costumes and wigs for past productions at SCHS, fundraiser for trips and competitions and provided voice scholarships for theater students.
