No better way to start a Saturday morning! ☀️

Great run with even better people today! Love seeing so many folks kicking off their training cycles and putting in the early morning work together. The post-run catch-up was just as good as the miles. Great conversation, high energy, and the best way to roll into the weekend.

Saturday PARR Group Run! 🏃

For the entire month of September, we’re shifting our meetup spot to Dawson High School.

Here are the details:

🗓️ Saturday September 5th

📍 Location: Dawson High School (2601 E Broadway St, Pearland, TX)

🏃 Distances: 3–12 Miles

🕛 5:00 AM (Early Bird Start): Extra mileage loop for full marathoners, returning to DHS at 6:00 AM to sweep up the main group.

🕛6:00 AM (Main Group Start): Official group start taking us on a scenic route into Tom Bass Park!

💦 Hydration: Water stations available at the Dawson HS start and inside Tom Bass Park.

🍦Post-Run: Stick around after your miles for post-run popsicles! 🧊✨

Saturday run in the books, and what an amazing turnout!

Nothing beats knocking out early miles with the crew. From the early morning dark start to watching the sunrise out on the path, the energy today was unmatched.

It was so great seeing everyone showing up, supporting each other through every mile, and hanging out after to cool down, refuel with some watermelon, and catch up. This group makes every single step worth it!

Thank you to everyone who came out and brought the good vibes. Keep pushing, enjoy the rest of your weekend, and we’ll see you all next week!

Calling all runners! Set your alarms! ⏰

We’re heading back to Turner High School this Saturday, August 29th, for our FINAL group run from this location before we switch things up!

Here is everything you need to know for Saturday morning:

Schedule & Start Times

⏰ 5:00 AM: Early-bird option for extra miles. We will loop back to Turner HS to pick up the main group. (Zero pressure to start this early—just an option if you need to get ahead of the heat!)

⏰ 6:00 AM: Main group takeoff.

🏃 Distances: Options available from 3 to 10 miles.

💧 Hydration: Water stations will be placed out on the route.

👟 Pace Groups: Right before each takeoff, we will break into pace groups so you can align with your target pace and meet your pace group leaders.

Another Saturday Group Run in the books!

Awesome turnout today! It was so great seeing both familiar faces and new ones joining the crew! With the Chevron Houston Marathon and Aramco Houston Half Marathon right around the corner, good luck to everyone officially kicking off their training cycles. Long runs are always better with good company!🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Set your alarms! We're hitting the pavement this Saturday, August 22, for our weekly group run! We're celebrating our August birthdays with post-run popsicles AND a special race entry giveaway to the Chance for Hope event!

Here are the details:

📍 Where: Turner High School
🗓️ When: Saturday, August 22
🕛 Time: 6:00 AM
🏃‍♂️ Distance Options: 3 to 10 miles (all paces welcome!)

Want extra miles? Our Early Bird group will meet at 5:00 AM to get in 5 miles before joining the 6:00 AM crew!

Chance for Hope Race Entry Giveaway:

We are raffling off a special race entry to the Chance for Hope event!

How to enter: All registered 2026–2027 PARR members are automatically entered into the raffle.

The Catch: You must be present after the run to win!

What an incredible morning out on the roads! Saturday's group run proved once again that every mile is better when we tackle it together.

Seeing everyone show up, push through the heat, and keep each other motivated from start to finish is what makes this crew so special. We put in the hard work as a team, braved the rising temperatures, and celebrated the effort with some post run treats.

It’s the energy, support, and camaraderie each of you brings that keeps our community growing strong. Proud of the sweat, proud of the mileage, and even prouder of this team.

Rest up, hydrate well, and let’s do it all over again next week!

Saturday Group Run Details:

🗓 When: Saturday, August 15th @ 6:00 AM
📍 Where: Turner High School
👟 Distance: 3 to 10 miles (All paces and distances welcome!)
💧 Amenities: Water stops will be set up at normal locations along the route, PLUS post-run popsicles 🍧 waiting for you at the finish line!

Chance for Hope Race Entry Raffle:

Started in the dark, finished under the sun! ☀️

Great turnout for this morning's run! We logged some solid miles before sunrise, then gathered around to chat all things Texas Independence Relay (TIR) and what to expect for next year’s race.

Ended the morning the best way possible: post-run treats and great conversations.
