**Four wins. Six podiums. Nine racers. Pretty darn good start to the 2026 TMBRA Texas Cup. 🔥**

Pearland Bicycles Racing headed to **29 Pines Ranch near Henderson, Texas** for Flow Motion and came home with a strong day across the board.

🥇 Allison Sessions - Cat 1 Women 40-49
🥇 Jason Sessions - Singlespeed Open
🥈 Alejandro De La Garza - Cat 1 Men 19-39
🥉 Linda Jordaan - Cat 1 Women 40-49

Cindy Weatherford finished 4th, Greg Reynaud 5th, and Kristopher Hokanson 8th.

Alejandro finished just 44 seconds off the win after four laps and 1:43 of racing.

And a big one for **Andrew Hokanson**, who picked up his **first TMBRA series win with a sprint finish**. 🥇

Late post for the day, but I have to take a minute to brag on our Pearland Bicycles MTB XC race team.

Saturday night they took on Blazing Saddles at Bluff Creek Ranch in Warda, and this one is a little different from your normal XC race.

It’s a mass start six-hour marathon, starting at 5 PM and running until 11 PM. Riders race a roughly 7-mile loop and keep stacking laps for six hours. Once 8 PM hits, lights are required, so a big part of the race happens after dark. Teams can trade riders between laps, while the solo racers just keep going. Most laps at the end of six hours wins. (Bluff Creek Ranch)

That makes this just as much about endurance, consistency and teamwork as outright speed.

And our crew had a heck of a night.

In the 2-Person Co-Ed category:

🥇 Alejandro & Kelsey - 1st Place
🥈 Jason & Allison - 2nd Place

Our 4-Person Co-Ed team of Greg, Rachel, Chris & Cindy brought home 2nd Place. 🥈

Andrew and Chris Hokinson also lined up together in the 2-Person Men’s category and spent the evening grinding out laps.

And a shoutout to Josh Gillam with the Pearland Coyotes, who decided sharing the workload sounded too easy and took on the entire six-hour solo race himself.

Six hours on a mountain bike is tough enough. Racing into the night, managing lights, fatigue, lap times and handoffs makes Blazing Saddles a pretty unique kind of suffering.

Three podium finishes and a bunch of riders willing to spend their Saturday night racing mountain bikes until 11 PM.

Freaking awesome.
