Heat race win

Another long overdue update. We’ve been hard at it and super busy that last few weeks. Many may have see. The broken cam in the new motor the first race out and we have come to the conclusion that it was just a bad part and luckily didn’t do much for other damage. Every week we keep improving with the MB Custom chassis. Saturday we picked up our first heat race win in this car at Maquoketa. We started the feature on the pole but faded to 5 pretty quick and got 6th in the end. We finally have good speed early in the night and now we need to carry that over into the feature.

We have a lot of people to thank and it would be impossible to do this without all of their help and support.

First Maddie for taking care of the girls and everything else she does that give me the time to do this and my father in law Jeff for getting the girls where they need to be when I can’t get home from work in time and helping on the new house and the car when I need the help

Jesse and Boden for being there all the time to help with whatever is needed and coming along to all the races.

Kristy for the support helping with the cost to dyno to make sure motor was good after fixing the broken cam.

Chris and Cj horn for the new engine and all the running that had to be done to get parts and machine work that needed to be done to fix it back up

Another night in the books and we kept digging. Battled through the feature, learned a lot, and brought the car home in one piece. Not exactly the finish we were chasing, but we’ll take the notes, get back to work, and come back stronger.

🏁 Race Weekend 🏁

Night 1 is at Maquoketa Speedway! Gates open at 4:00 PM and hot laps start at 5:45 PM. We’re ready to hit the track and see what we’ve got.

Then it’s right back at it for Night 2 on Sunday at Dubuque Fairgrounds Speedway—another chance to race hard and finish the weekend strong!

If you’re out and about, come catch some racing action both nights 💪🔥

Well this update is later than mid week like we said. The dark cloud from the end of last season is still over our heads. Long story short we broke a cam in half on lap 5 of the heat race Dubuque. Engine is completely torn down again and doesn’t look like anything other than just a part failure. We got super luck that it only bent one valve. We will get it fixed up and put back together. Our next race will be the 16th at Maquoketa. Thank you to all of our sponsors and supporters. Need to get this bad luck off our back.
