Hawaiian Electric employees, IBEW Local 1260 raise $273,053.04 for Aloha United Way

Hawaiian Electric employees on Oʻahu and in Maui County together with the IBEW Local 1260 raised $273,053.04 for Aloha United Way during a 2025 workplace campaign. Funds will support the nonprofit’s essential programs and 300-plus partner agencies working to address Oʻahu and Maui County’s most urgent needs.

Please support my fellow Mana Loa Nimitz Lion Club member, friend, and co-owner of Char-Su Productions Craft Fairs, Nancy Hsu at next Saturday's Hello Summer Craft Fair at the Momilani Community Center in Pearl City.

I will join my fellow Mana Loa Nimitz Lions Club buddies to help out with vendor parking duties and our club will also be selling watercress and other items as a club fundraiser to support our outreach programs.

Mahalo to my Rotary Club of Pearlridge (RCOP) buddies who shared a wonderful lunch and fellowship together on Friday at Sadie’s BBQ Inn located at the Pearl City Shopping Center.

The Rotary Club of Pearlridge invites their membership to enjoy an “On The Go” lunch meeting one Friday of each month while supporting local restaurants in Aiea and Pearl City.

Mahalo Tim, Terri, Sarah, Jake, and Ed who I joined for a great time together as Rotarians.

I would like to invite you to check out Sadie’s BBQ Inn located on the makai side of the Pearl City Shopping Center next to Long’s Drug Store. Ono Korean BBQ and great burgers!

Pearl City Gymrats win Championship at Jam on It Tournament!

Congratulations to the Pearl City Gymrats who captured the Jam on It 5th/6th Level 3 Girls Championship Title this past weekend at the Hawaii Convention Center. The Pearl City Gymrats defeated Menehune Pink 30-16 to bring home the Championship. Menehune Pink, 808 Dynasty 5G, Legacy Hoops Hawaii 6G, and Pearl City Gymrats competed in the four team division. Shylah Lorenzana and Peyton Fontanilla led the Gymrats in scoring.
