Hello, Fit Fam! We’ve had several new followers on here, but most importantly a lot of new members who have joined our 501 family! I thought it would be a good time to kind of re-introduce ourselves.
We celebrated opening our Boot Camp gym five years ago this past April which was intended to be a Boot Camp gym and a public gym, but because of the overwhelming amount of sign ups, we had to make a last-minute decision to change it to just a private gym for boot campers only.
About a year later, we were able to open our bigger gym, which is open to the public and also 24 hours with tanning included. What a lot of you may not realize is; although we have done very well so far running this business that we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into when we started. It is just the two of us running both gyms.
We don’t have a cleaning crew, we don’t have staff , it’s just the two of us. As grateful as we are to have the amount of members that we do, it is very hard for us to keep up with everything on our own, so we do ask that you pleas re-rack your weights, don’t do weird stuff in the bathroom because I (Miranda) is usually the one that has to clean everything up. That also includes cleaning up after yourself in the tanning rooms as well.
We are not just asking this on behalf of ourselves, but out of respect for the other members as well. We do our best to try to maintain a clean gym, but we do need your help in doing so!
We are extremely appreciative of every member who has stuck with us and the new members that have joined and trying us out. We have a pretty awesome community at 501 Fitness, so if you’re new, welcome to the fit fam and for the people that continue to return we are forever thankful for your business and helping us keep our doors open!
