🏆Two of our own were honored last week, and we couldn't be prouder. 🏆

The Fayette Chamber of Commerce hosted its BraveHeart Public Safety and Public Service Awards, celebrating the firefighters, EMS crews, police officers, and local government employees who show up for this county every single day. Honorees came from City of Fayetteville, Georgia - Government, Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Brooks, Tyrone, and Woolsey.

Representing Peachtree City this year: Chris Helton, Facilities Supervisor with Peachtree City Recreation and Special Events, and Officer Jacob Reed of the Peachtree City Police Department. Chris goes over and beyond to ensure the parks and facilities our community loves are in tip-top shape. Officer Reed keeps our streets safe. Different roles, same heart for service.

Congratulations, Chris and Officer Reed. And to every honoree across Fayette County, thank you for the work you do, seen and unseen. A big thank you as well to the Fayette Chamber for recognizing the people behind the badge and behind the scenes. 💙

The Varsity Lady Chiefs are ready to take the field tonight at 7:00 PM as we face Starr’s Mill! 💚🖤

And that’s not all! Our friends from Pride, our local recreation softball league, will take the field between the JV and Varsity games as we celebrate the next generation of softball players! 🥎

We’re welcoming Starr’s Mill to the field for PTCGSA NIGHT — a special night celebrating the girls, the game, and the softball community that helped shape so many of our Lady Chiefs! 💚🥎

PTCGSA is where so many of our Lady Chiefs got their start and fell in love with the game. Now, we’re bringing everyone together to celebrate girls softball from the youth fields to the high school diamond! 🥎💚🖤

PTCGSA girls get in FREE when wearing their Pride jersey and accompanied by a paying adult.
