Sometimes you have to test it to know how far you’ve come.

Last week we took on the CrossFit Total:

1-rep max shoulder press.
1-rep max back squat.
1-rep max deadlift.

Three simple lifts. One really good snapshot of strength.

The goal is not to beat the person next to you.

It is to find out where you are today, celebrate what has improved, and give yourself something to build from next time.

Some people hit PRs.
Some matched old numbers.
Some just learned what they are capable of right now.

All of that matters.

When was the last time you tested your strength?

It is not one age.
One body type.
One ability level.

It is people showing up, learning, working hard, modifying when they need to, and getting a little stronger over time.

That is the kind of fitness we care about.

There is room for you here too.

There is something different about putting weight over your head that used to intimidate you.

Strength changes more than your muscles.

Every time you learn a movement, add a little weight, or do something you were unsure you could do, you build confidence too.

That carries outside the gym.

What is something you can do now that once intimidated you?

Four weeks after knee replacement,

Ann came back into the gym just to see what she could do.

She wasn’t trying to prove anything or jump right back in where she left off.

She just wanted to move a little,
test things out,
and start finding her way back.

So we worked with what felt good that day.

A little rowing.
A little movement.
Nothing fancy.

Just Ann getting back into a place that has been part of her routine for a long time.

That first step back can feel like a big one, and we were really happy to see her take it.

Good to have you back, Ann. ❤️

SABRINA'S WHY ❤️

For Sabrina, getting stronger is about so much more than what happens inside the gym.

“I want to set a good and healthy example for my 7-year-old son. Show him how both men and women can be so strong — not only physically, but mentally.”

That’s a WHY we can get behind. 💪

Sabrina wants her son to grow up seeing strength as something that belongs to everyone — and to understand that sometimes the biggest part of a workout is convincing your mind that you CAN keep going.

She’s also playing the long game.

“I just want to be able to be healthier as I grow older and to keep enjoying life in general with my family with a healthy body and mind.”

That’s what we mean when we talk about training for life.

Not just stronger today.

Strong enough to keep doing the things you love for years to come. ❤️

Keep setting that example, Sabrina!

Saturday mornings look a little different around here.

HYROX training mixes strength, conditioning, machines, carries, sleds, and plenty of work under fatigue.

Some people are training for a race. Some just like the challenge.

Either way, you get stronger, build your engine, and learn how to keep moving when you’re tired.

Curious about hybrid training?

Come try a Saturday class with us.

Different ages. Different abilities. Different weights.

But the benefit is the same: stronger muscles, stronger bones, more confidence, and a body that is better prepared for everyday life.

You do not need to start heavy. You just need to start.

Pick up the weight that challenges you today.

Building muscle matters for more than appearance.

It helps support
bone health,
metabolism,
balance,
independence,
and everyday strength.

And yes — seeing some muscle definition is pretty fun too.

If you have been avoiding weights, this is your sign to start.

🌟 MEET OUR ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: SABRINA! 🌟

We’re kicking off the month by celebrating Sabrina, our newest CrossFit PTC Athlete of the Month! ❤️

Sabrina is a busy mom, stepmom, Delta flight attendant, traveler, outdoor adventurer—and someone who once thought CrossFit probably wasn’t for her.

“I always thought CrossFit wasn’t for me, that I wasn’t going to be able to lift that much and wasn’t ‘fit’ enough for it.”

And yet… here she is. 💪

Hitting PRs on squats and deadlifts.
Getting stronger.
Sleeping better.
Making better nutrition choices.
Feeling more energetic and confident in her body.
And already setting her sights on her next goal: pull-ups!

But one of the things we love most about Sabrina’s story is her WHY.

“I want to set a good and healthy example for my 7-year-old son. Show him how both men and women can be so strong—not only physically but mentally.”

For Sabrina, this isn’t just about what she can lift today. It’s about being strong and healthy for the life she wants to keep living with the people she loves.

And somewhere along the way, the woman who wasn’t sure she was “fit enough” for CrossFit discovered just how strong she really is. ❤️

We’re so happy you walked through our doors, Sabrina, and we’re excited to celebrate you ALL MONTH LONG!

Drop a ❤️ or 💪 below and help us congratulate our Athlete of the Month!
