And this is why you upgrade to Green Lithium Performance Batteries in your golf cart. I did a performance test today using a 2002 club car. Started with a full battery charge and my iPhone as an odometer. Here are screen shots from my splits at 20 miles and 30 miles and the final screen shot from when I pulled back into the driveway. I also snapped a photo of the Battery Monitor back in the driveway. I left a 25% charge on the battery which is what I recommend as the minimum charge to protect the life of the battery.

In this video, we weighed 1 of the 6 batteries that make up a conventional lead acid battery set. It weighs roughly 60 lbs. With 6 of these batteries to make up a battery set, that is 360 pounds. We then weigh a Green Lithium Battery and find that it is only 120 pounds. 240 pounds lighter. That is the weight of an additional person.
